Megan Gale has given her fans another
glimpse of her stunning pregnancy figure during a behind-the-scenes
video of her nude photo shoot for Marie Claire magazine.
In a Sunday Night special aired on Channel Seven, Megan also discusses
her trepidations about doing the shoot and hits back at criticism over
her 12-year age difference with her AFL player partner, Shaun Hampson.
Speaking to Marie Claire editor Jackie
Frank, the 38-year-old said she felt ‘overwhelmed’ and ‘over-exposed’ as
she shed her clothes for the camera.
But as soon as she gets in front of the lens, the brunette beauty nails
it with both Franks and the photographer gushing over her pregnancy
figure as she strikes a pose.
The model followed in the footsteps of Demi Moore as she posed nude for
the magazine, covering her modesty with a strategically-placed arm.

During the interview, Megan spoke about her decision to pose naked for the fashion glossy.
Urged by her mother to do the shoot, Megan said she liked the idea
because it celebrated the pregnancy form, but was also wary of causing
controversy.
‘The person who got me over the line was my mum. She said it is nothing
to worry about, or be ashamed of. It is not a scandal,’ she said.
This isn’t Megan’s first nude photo shoot, but it was a distinct
experience that she admitted left her ‘liberated’ and ‘terrified’.
When asked by Frank if she had indeed bared her body in its entirety for
the camera, Megan replied, ‘God yeah when I was 25, not when I was 38.’
‘I think any woman would know that when you’re in your mid-20s, things
are firmer and perkier and just all round better,’ she said. ‘This is
quite daunting for me to do at 38.
‘You get so aware of your body and how to work your body in front of the
camera when you are modelling,’ she added. ‘I feel like my body is a
different body right now.’
The brunette beauty did admit she was ‘relieved now that it is over’, but didn’t regret her decision to grace the cover naked.
‘As vulnerable as I felt doing it, it was quite a liberating thing to do
it. I have been enjoying watching my body change and I think it is good
to record it.’
During her interview with Frank, Megan didn’t hesitate to answer
questions about the 26-year-old father of her unborn baby, who is 12
years her junior.
‘No one says “Brad Pitt is so much older than Angelina” – he is 12 years older. I am 12 years older than Shaun,’ Megan said.
‘I think when it’s the woman that’s older people are like, “hang on, that’s a bit full-on.”‘
Megan, who previously dated comedian Andy Lee, began seeing Richmond player Shaun in late 2010.
In November last year they announced they were expecting their first
child together, but have remained quiet about the sex of the baby.
Megan, who at the time of the shoot was 30 weeks into her pregnancy,
also shed some light on the spicy romance between the expecting parents.
When asked about the baby making process, she said ‘it can be fun’ whilst laughing.
The L’Oreal ambassador is now officially on maternity leave after
appearing at the Melbourne Fashion Festival last month, which was her
last working engagement before her big day.
She told the Herald Sun that there have been some unexpected benefits to
being pregnant, saying ‘With pregnancy, you almost automatically
connect with someone.’
‘It’s been really nice through social media and people I meet that you bond that way.’
Megan announced her pregnancy news back in November by posting a picture of her ultrasound on Instagram.
She was 13 weeks pregnant at that point, and is due to give birth in mid-May. (
