Muggers shot a man and snatched Tk 1.30 lakh from him in the capital’s East Rampura area on Monday evening.
The victim was M Manir Hossain, 40, son of Kawsar Hawlader. He used to live at Bhuiyan Colony in the area.
The victim said three armed muggers on a motorbike shot him in the right ear at Natun Rasta intersection at about 7:00pm and took away Tk 1.30 lakh from him while he was returning home, leaving him injured.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. (Source)
