The wedding gown Dame
Elizabeth Taylor wore when she married her first husband Conrad Hilton, Jr., is
all set to go under the hammer on 23 June 2013.
The 'Cleopatra' star, who was
only 18 when she tied the knot with the hotel heir on 6 May, 1950, wore an
oyster shell-colored, floor-length satin dress.
The special piece is to be
auctioned off by Christie's in London, where it is expected to fetch more than
75,300 dollars, Contactmusic reported.
The frock was designed Grace
Kelly's wedding dress creator- Helen Rose and it has an incredibly thin 22-inch
waist.
The late movie icon had tied
the knot seven times in her life. (Source)
