Will Smith, along with son
Jaden, made an appearance on the UK's "Graham Norton Show" on Friday
to promote their upcoming film, "After Earth." What ensued may
arguably be the most entertaining three minutes in television history.
When Will visited the British
show last year, he led the studio audience in an impromptu performance of
"The Fresh Prince of Bel Air's" themesong.
This time around, he had a
little help.
When asked by Graham if Will
and Jaden ever perform music together, the father-son duo grabbed microphones
and began to rap for the crowd before Will introduced a special surprise guest
- DJ Jazzy Jeff.
The studio audience erupted
into cheers as the three performed Will's hit, "Switch" (while fellow
guests Bradley Cooper and Heather Graham clapped along from the couch),
followed by "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air."
And the fun was just
beginning.
Alfonso Ribeiro (who played
Carlton Banks on "Fresh Prince") soon emerged from backstage and led
Will and Jaden in an enthusiastic performance of "The Carlton Dance"
to Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual."
Next, host Graham got in on
the action, as he, Will and Alfonso all busted out their famous "Apache
(Jump On It)" dance originally performed during a Season 6 episode of
"The Fresh Prince" (set to The Sugarhill Gang's 1981 hit). (Source)
